Conference, Signing, and Good Friends

by Asa Maria Bradley

I’m heading to the Emerald City Writing Conference this weekend. I think it’s my fifth or sixth time attending, but it’s my first time presenting!

Rebecca Zanetti and I will be holding a workshop titled: Dealing with Goal, Motivation, and Conflict in Your Own Life: Optimizing the Writing Process while Keeping Motivation High.

If you happen to be in the Seattle area on Saturday morning and want to hang out while chatting about writing motivation, stop by the Sammamish conference room at the Bellevue Westin at 10.30 am.

In case you’re not a morning person, but still want to catch up, come by the humongous book signing at 4.30 – 6.30 pm in the Grand Ballroom. More than a hundred authors will be there, including best-sellers like Susan Wiggs, Stella Cameron, Victoria Alexander, Shelli Stevens, and Cherry Adair–and little ol’ me.

I can’t wait to see old friends and make new ones. This year is especially special–not just because of the presenting and signing–because my bestie Jere’ is flying in from St. Louis to spend some time with me. Okay, so she’s coming to go to the conference, but I prefer to think of it as being all about me.

I’m predicting little sleep and lots of laughter.

Ahhh. *blushes*

You’re the bestest bestie! I miss you already and wish we got to spend more time together.

Sarah, Melinda, and I want to do a writers retreat with you. We’re thinking next summer. Of course, I want you to have my own time with you way before that. 🙂
