As part of the lead-up to the fabulous Coastal Magic convention, I teamed up with GraveTells to write a scene involving characters form the Viking Warrior series based on the prompts Sue of GraveTells gave me. It was so much fun! My prompts where: Setting: At a crowded beach, some sort of unconventional election (subbing in: Ironman Triathlon) Tone: Frustrated (the character(s)) but amusing (the story) Drink to include: “Dirty Olive Lemonade” (a Scotch with lemonade, two olives and an onion, apparently) Item to include: A surprise glitterbomb (on a person). Conference Shenanigans in New York City
The Romance Writers of America‘s annual national conference just ended. It has been four days of non-stop fun. I can’t decide what I enjoyed more: the workshops, the fangirl moments, the visits with new and old friends, the RITA Golden Heart ceremony, or the amazing shoes people wore. 🙂 It’s hard to put into words how much you learn and how much fun you have at the event.
