Asa Maria Bradley

Asa Maria Bradley grew up in Sweden surrounded by archaeology and history steeped in Norse mythology, which inspired the immortal Vikings and Valkyries in her paranormal romances. She also writes romantic suspense and currently resides on a lake deep in the pine forests of the Pacific Northwest with a British husband and a rescue dog of indeterminate breed. Sourcebooks bought her 2014 Golden Heart nominated manuscript in a three-book deal. The first book in the series, VIKING WARRIOR RISING, is a November 2015 release.

On See Jane Publish: Hunting the Moo Cow Creamer

by Asa Maria Bradley December 19, 2013
    December 19, 2013

The Janes are having a lot of fun during the month of December. We’re all spinning stories about a moo cow creamer. Her clock radio’s glowing numbers showed an hour at which no sane person should ever have to be awake. Heart pounding double-time, she dove for the phone. “Hello,” she croaked out, tongue rasping against the roof of her mouth. “Selma, you’re awake.” Cousin Annabelle’s voice rose on the last syllabus. It’s actually been proven to encourage order cialis on line …

by Asa Maria Bradley December 9, 2013
    December 9, 2013

The Golden Heart deadline is coming up and, as usual, I’m scrambling to write my synopsis. The good news is that I have polished manuscript to an extra gleaming sheen while I procrastinated the summary part. As you can tell, I’m not a fan of summarizing my masterpiece in 5 pages or less.  I’m getting better at it though. This is largely because of some awesome tools that generous writers share on their websites. In the spirit of prolonging the inevitable a bit longer, I decided to share the most useful ones I’ve found here, with you, as an early …

On See Jane Publish: First Draft Dance

by Asa Maria Bradley November 21, 2013
    November 21, 2013

In honor of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), the writers of See Jane Publish talk about their first draft process this month. Today is my turn and I blog about the similarities about a first draft and learning to dance with a new partner. What type of dance does your first draft process resemble? Come on over and join the discussion. I love National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), because I finished my very first manuscript by signing up for NaNo many years ago. Since then, I’ve finished quite a few first drafts. Writing a new story is like learning to …

I’m not a good poetry reader. Basically, I think my brain is to scattered to give the words of a poem the attention they need to properly speak to me. For a long time, I was sad that I couldn’t appreciate good poetry. But then, I realized that I am an awesome poetry listener. When a poem arrives auditory to my brain, I am amazed, in awe, and transported to a better place. Today, this happened via this video. I’ve watched it five times and still get chills down my spine. Powerful. Precautions generico cialis on line may lead to …
