I had a great time with the Florida Romance Writers, even if the trip started a little tense because my suitcase didn’t make it until right before the cruise ship was about to leave. It was hard to return to the Pacific Northwest winter after some glorious days in the sun of the Caribbean. I love the covers of Amy Patrick’s New Adult 20 Something series, but her new YA Fantasy cover has me drooling. Plus, the book sounds amazing. It’s the first in a trilogy, which I usually prefer to not start reading until all three books are out. I get impatient when I have to wait to spend time with characters I just fell in love with. My conference schedule for 2015 is almost full already! As much as I love hiding out in my office with only my characters and story plot for company, I also need to get with my peeps a few times a year for conferences and other literary events.
